Back Acre Farm is a small farm located in beautiful northern Michigan, near the south end of Torch Lake, which was once named by National Geographic as one of the three most beautiful lakes in the world.  We are located in middle of the postcard picture to the right.

Our focus has been producing Polypay seedstock developed for high production on low inputs.  Most of our rams are sold to commercial sheep operations to enhance the maternal traits of their ewe flocks. 

We have also decided to produce White Dorper seedstock that will also need to produce with low inputs.
